"Anyone get LYME this summer? I got it and I'm on doxycycline," she wrote.
"Any advice? Can you have a glass of wine or 2 on it? I know to stay out of the sun."
The Trainwreck actress, 39, reassured supporters she feels "good" and is "excited to get rid of" the disease.
She also shared a throwback photo of herself holding a fishing pole as a child.
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that can be spread to humans by infected ticks.
Early-stage symptoms can include headaches, flu-like symptoms, joint pain and sometimes a rash that can look like a bullseye.
Most people with the disease get better after taking antibiotics, although this can take months for some, while a small number of people can have symptoms that last years.
Earlier this year, Justin Bieber said he had been diagnosed with Lyme disease.
Singer Avril Lavigne is another high-profile name who has battled the disease, telling Billboard that it had left her struggling to get out of bed for two years.
Schumer has previously opened up about her health, describing her struggles with severe morning sickness while she was pregnant with son Gene David.
