Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew has officially joined Dutch Eredivisie side NAC Breda till the end of the season.
The 36-year-old has been without a club since last summer after leaving French side Le Havre in May 2025.
Ayew is now in the Netherlands on a contract which includes an option for another season in Breda.
“In the battle for survival in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie, NAC has added André Ayew (36), a new striker to its squad,” the club announced.
“The experienced French-Ghanaian striker has signed a contract until the end of the current season, with a club option for another season in Breda.”
The club sits at the bottom of the Dutch top-flight league with 17 points from 13 matches this term.
Meanwhile, Ayew has promised to “do everything I can to help the club and my teammates” survive the relegation battle.
The move represents a fresh opportunity for the former Black Stars captain, who has not featured for the Ghana national team for over a year as the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches.
