Some angry youth of Tamale have been protesting at the palace of the Chief of Tamale, Dapkema Naa Mahamadu, Monday.
Their demand is that he de-skins his sub-chief in charge of entertainment, Deema Naa Mohammed Hafiz.
Mr Hafiz is alleged to have said in a radio interview that he has had sex with half of the all the ladies in the metropolis since his return from Europe.
The youth says if Dakpema Naa Mahamadu was able to banish Kamil Khamis in the infamous Tamale sex scandal some years back he should do same for one of his subjects.
They believe Deema Naa Hafiz has brought the chieftaincy institution and Tamale metropolis as a whole into disrepute.
"During the show, the host asked me, 'when you first came into Tamale, there were a lot of ladies hanging around you'. I replied that, 'I as Deema Naa I has finished with half of Tamale women'," Mr Hafiz said.
He told Joy News' Evans Mensah that 'finished with them' implied, "these days I am grown up and I am not into women hanging around me again. That is why you see me walking on my own."
According to him, someone picked the radio interview, made a story and interpreted it to mean he [Deema Naa] had had sex with half of the ladies in Tamale and posted it on facebook.
The entertainment chief explained that he is known with women empowerment and championing the cause of women in the metropolis by sponsoring brilliant but needy girls.
"I created the Dekpama Educational Fund single-handedly...and our priority is women development," adding finishing them was to mean he has trained them.
He is challenging his accusers to produce the tape of the interview.
"The gentleman who posted it on facebook was asked by the police if I had said that and his answer was no," the Deema Naa said.
He said 'Nnaaba' in the Dagbani language means 'settle me' or 'finish me' so he used the phrase in the interview to imply he has paid his dues to the women of Tamale and some people took it out of context.
Deema Naa Mohammed Hafiz said it is preposterous for anyone to make such an allegation against him when he does not know the population of the metropolis let alone sleeping with half of the ladies.
Joy News correspondent Hashmin Mohammed reported that the Chief of Tamale, Dapkema Naa Mahamadu received the complaint, has requested for the tape and has promised to investigate the complaint.
Dapkema Naa Mahamadu told Joy New he would take a decision on the matter once he reviews it and take action if he finds anything wrong.
