Gospel musician and life coach Anthea Coker has released a new song titled Me Nyankopong, a track that highlights the goodness of God and affirms His greatness in every aspect of life.
The contemporary gospel singer, who was born to Ghanaian parents and raised in the United Kingdom, has long combined music with personal development work. Her journey in ministry and performance began early, with a passion for singing and public speaking nurtured by her family, particularly her mother.
At 15, Anthea Coker became the leader of a non denominational choir in her local church, where she played a key role in the music department. The responsibility helped shape her leadership skills, teamwork and confidence as a public speaker.
Her musical path later took her beyond the church. She ministered in songs and inspirational messages across various congregations before becoming a regular backing vocalist at The 10 Room in Piccadilly Circus, London. The venue, known for its open mic sessions and international talent, exposed her to a wider music network and performance opportunities. During this period, she shared stages with several well known artistes, including Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie, Beverley Knight and Ja Rule.
Anthea Coker also launched an eight song pre album project at The 10 Room, drawing attention from industry figures, including members of the Motown group The Temptations, who offered her words of encouragement.
In Ghana, she has worked with prominent musicians and media organisations. She was contracted by Charterhouse as a voice coach for contestants on Stars of the Future and has also worked with Atlantis Radio as a mid morning show presenter. Her work has extended to international schools, including Ghana International School, where she has coached students for major school events.

Beyond music, Anthea Coker has developed several media and coaching platforms. She has hosted programmes such as Pitch with Anthea Coker on Sky TV in the UK, The PODCAST10, Random Worship Moments and transformational life coaching segments. She is also the author of The Pitch Singing Manual and accompanying CD.
A trained professional, she holds a degree in Business Studies and Management from Middlesex University and a diploma in Professional Life Coaching. She currently travels internationally, combining music ministry with life coaching, with a strong focus on youth development, emotional wellbeing and purpose discovery.
Through Me Nyankopong, Anthea Coker continues to express her faith through music while reinforcing her broader mission of encouragement, healing and transformation.
