BioMex, in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation, has opened applications for the Cohort 2 BioMex Certificate Programme, a fully funded, internationally recognised upskilling programme.
Professionals, recent graduates and aspiring innovators in biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, health care and life sciences in Ghana are invited to take the next step in advancing their careers as applications close on July 10, 2026.
Delivered in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH’s Strengthening the Ghana Pharma Sector Focusing on Vaccine Production (PharmaVax Ghana), the BioMex Certificate Programme offers participants a unique opportunity to upskill through a flexible and tailor-made selection of 26 modules across 6 thematic competence clusters.
The programme allows individuals to select modules tailored to their professional goals and add to their existing skill set to get ahead in their careers.
The thematic clusters cover Biotechnology & Biomedicine, Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Technology, Innovation Management and Intercultural Cooperation, Facility, Energy and Environmental Management, Health Care and Smart Medical Technologies, as well as Compliance and Risk Assessment.
Successful applicants to the BioMex Certificate Programme will benefit from a fully funded participation model; an individual, tailor-made module selection aligned with career goals; an internationally recognised certificate and access to the international BioMex alumni network.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply before the July 10 deadline. Application requirements include a CV, university degree, transcript of records with overall grade, grading scale, letter of motivation, and one letter of reference.
The BioMex Certificate Programme is working with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through the PharmaVax Ghana programme, which is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
It is part of the Team Europe Initiative Manufacturing and Access to Vaccines, Medicines and Health Technologies in Africa (MAV+).
