Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Thomas Partey after paying the €50 million buyout clause for the Atletico Madrid midfielder.
La Liga, who hold the player's registration, confirmed Arsenal have triggered the buyout clause on Monday evening, with Atletico duly notified.
Arsenal have paid the amount to Atletico Madrid and the 27-year-old is currently in London to complete the move.
He will sign a contract until June 2025, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano if he passes his medical.
