Asante Kotoko striker Nathaniel Asamoah has been applauded by Black Stars defender Lee Addy for joining his former club Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.Nathaniel Asamoah has agreed a four year deal to move to the 1990 Champions league winners.According to Lee Addy who played two seasons for Red Star Belgrade before moving to China, Nathaniel Asamoah’s move is a dream come true for the young man.“Is a great start for Asamoah in his career and I believe he can make an impact there”. He told JOY Sports“With the kind of football he plays in Ghana, I’m sure when he applies it there he will be successful”.
Nathaniel Asamoah is joined in Serbia by ex- Black stars captain Stephen Appiah who will be unveiled as a player of FK Vojvodina on Friday after agreeing a deal.This comes after the Ghanaian successfully underwent medicals to become the biggest signing in the club’s history.
The 31 year old had been without a club since leaving Italian side Cesena last season.
