Accra-based third division side Asanska FC is partnering with Spanish La Liga side Getafe CF to scout outstanding Ghanaian players between the ages of 16 and 19.
A three-day scouting tournament begins on Monday, August 29, at Asanska Park in Oyibi, Accra.
Jose Maria Barba Bueno, a scout from Getafe, will join Asanska FC technical direcor David Ousiel to select talented locally-based players and transfer them abroad.
Getafe, like many other European clubs, is aware football talents abound in Ghana. This tournament affords them an opportunity to assess over 800 players instead of inviting a limited number for trials in Europe.
Asanska FC has strong connections with clubs and agents in Spain, Austria, Turkey and Dubai.
