The Asogli Traditional Council has sent a message of "best wishes" to President John Agyekum Kufuor on his "miraculous escape from a near fatal motor accident, which occurred on Wednesday November 14, 2007". The message was contained in a statement issued by the Council and signed by its Registrar Patience Ensoir, after a general meeting on Friday November 16, presided over by the Agbogbomefia Togbe Afede XIV.
