Ghana female senior national team coach Yusif Basigi says they are determined to beat South Africa for the bronze medal at this year's African Women's Championship.
Ghana will take on South Africa in a third-place off game on Friday after failing to qualify to the finals last Tuesday.
Between the Black Queens and the Bayana Bayana, this will be the eighth meeting with Ghana having won six against Bayana Bayana's two.
Coach Basigi insists his side will do everything possible to beat South Africa for the bronze medal.
"We failed in our mission to win the title and there is no way we will let the third elude us. We want it badly and will come out to fight hard for it,'' Basigi said.
