Awoamefia of Anlo traditional area, Togbe Sri III, has commended Government for its effort in raising the standard of living of people in the area.
He says taking into account the many developmental projects going on in the area, it will be unfair to presuppose that government was not up to the task.
"We must let people know how far government has gone to improve structures in our area", he said
The Anlo paramount chief said these after an inspection tour of some projects under his jurisdiction - some of which he has sourced funding for.
The projects inspected include the Anloga Shopping Mall, a six classroom block at Salo and an ongoing rehabilitation of the Galasota Bridge which in the past posed as a death trap to users.
However, the Municipal Chief Executive for the Area, Sylvester Tornyeava, speaking to Joy News, said despite the many developmental projects going on the Municipality, the District Common Fund made available by government is woefully inadequate.
According to him, due to the inadequacy of the District Common Fund the Assembly had to resort to using the Urban Grant in order to execute some key development projects.
