The 5-man committee investigating circumstances leading to the flood light failure at the Baba Yara Stadium a fortnight ago has presented its report to the Ashanti Regional Minister.
The blackout occurred during a world cup qualifier between Ghana and Lesotho. Committee chairman Alex Darry, will not reveal details of the report but questioned the technical capacity of the engineering department at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The committee also faulted the Senior Electrical Engineer of Consar Limited, the company responsible for the renovation of the stadium, but admitted there was no sabotage.
Regional Minister Dr.Kweku Agyemang Mensah says the report will be studied and recommendations forwarded to the President.
