Barclays Bank of Ghana Limited (BBGL) has re-launched its internet transactional banking solution dubbed the Barclays Integrator, a statement in Accra said on Friday.
The statement, signed by Mrs. Shola Safo-Duodu, Head of Corporate Affairs, said the facility was to provide secure, reliable and fast online banking solutions via the internet for a selected group of customers of the bank.
“The product is offered to corporate customers, proprietors, partnerships, as well as designated individuals and companies,” it said.
The facility allows customers to transfer local and international funds between their own accounts, effect staff salary payments and transfer funds to third parties, among others.
The product also allows customers to access their accounts, print statements and effect payments from anywhere in the world online.
The statement said service provided an electronic platform that allowed customers to transact business in a fast and secured ambience, adding that this was another world class product by a world class bank to provide world class banking to Ghanaians.
“The product has a 128 bit data encryption which provides additional security, establishes a secure online banking solution and prevents access by unauthorised parties.”
The statement said corporate customers interested in the product should log on to www.integrator.barclays.com and follow prompts and directions to access the service.
“The Barclays Integrator is another one of the products that enabled Barclays Ghana to win the Euromoney Award for Cash Management in 2009 - Barclays Ghana placed first in Ghana and third in Africa,” it said.
It started full operation three years ago and has so far registered over 1,000 customers.
