The constituency chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bawku Central, Ndego Mohammed Awindago, acting on behalf of the MP, recently presented the footballs and jerseys to the enthusiastic youth.
During the presentation, he called on residents to view this initiative as more than just a football tournament but as a platform for social rejuvenation and unity, emphasizing the crucial role it plays in fostering peace and development in Bawku.
Mr Ayariga, known for his keen interest in football, has set his sights on elevating the standard of the sport within the Bawku Central constituency.

To realise this vision, he is currently overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art football pitch, complete with various sporting facilities and accommodation for the aspiring team players who will represent Bawku Central.
Recognising the significance of safety and security, the tournament has been strategically divided into three clusters – A, B, and C – to ensure a smooth and secure execution. This approach not only guarantees the safety of participants and spectators but also maximizes community engagement.

The ambitious project has already stirred excitement within the constituency, with the promise of uncovering hidden talents and providing a stage for aspiring football stars. The MP envisions this tournament as a catalyst for positive change, aligning with his commitment to the holistic development of Bawku Central.
As the area eagerly anticipates the kickoff of the tournament, all eyes are on Bawku Central, where the convergence of football and community development promises a brighter and more united future.
