The visit saw him touring numerous Mosques and Zongo communities in the municipality to fraternize with fellow Muslims in the twin city from the Takoradi Central Mosque where Dr. Bawumia partook in the afternoon Zuhr Prayers.
Speaking at the Central Mosque, Dr. Bawumia disclosed that he had decided to embark on the Ramadan tour to interact and seek the prayers of fellow Muslims in the powerful Ramadan month. He called on the Imam and Mallams of the Mosque to constantly pray for the Nation and its development.

From the Takoradi Central Mosque, Dr. Bawumia and his team visited the Sekondi Zongo Community where the NPP Running Mate paid courtesy calls on the Imam of the Sekondi Zongo community and the chief of the community. Prayers were shared at the homes of both the Imam and the Chief for Allah’s protection and guidance for Dr. Bawumia and his team.
