The Big Chef kitchen took a delightful turn on Sunday, June 29, 2025, trading flames and frying pans for frosting and fondant in a colorful, joy filled cake decoration challenge.
It was a refreshing break from the high stakes tension of previous episodes, as contestants swapped pressure for play, bonding over buttercream and sprinkles in a celebration of creativity.
Dubbed the Cake Art Challenge, this latest episode saw four dynamic teams step into the spotlight: Team Hilda and Monalisa Clock It Cake, Team Bubune and Nicholle Pastel et Mariposa, Team Serwaa and Jaden
Day Water Mystery Cake, and Team Raziela and Sasha Rasha’s Butterfly Cake.
With no intense cooking challenge on the menu, the contestants were instead tasked with transforming a plain cake into a visual masterpiece using their imagination, artistry, and teamwork. From playful timepieces to pastel butterflies and mystical water scenes, each team brought a unique story to life turning the kitchen into a gallery of edible art.
But it was Team Raziela and Sasha who emerged victorious, capturing hearts and the Star Team of the Week title with their striking Rasha’s Butterfly Cake. Their concept, color coordination, and storytelling stood out, earning praise from both the judges and fellow contestants.
The episode radiated pure fun, showcasing a lighter side of the competition. The young chefs let loose dancing, laughing, and connecting over their shared passion. It was about the cakes, the joy of expressing themselves freely and creatively in a pressure-free space.

Coming off the heels of last week’s fiery Kivo Pepper Soup Challenge which saw Serwaa shine with her “Champion Taste” konkonte dish this episode brought balance, reminding viewers that culinary greatness includes both precision and play.
With the stakes getting higher and the finals inching closer, every episode counts and every memory matters.
