Bigtwins Africa is one of Ghana’s traditional dance ensemble groups that has worked tirelessly over the years to raise Ghana’s flag aloft.
The traditional dance ensemble group, formed with the goal of promoting African traditional music and dance has captured the hearts of many in the diaspora with its musical style.
The group was formed by twins, Alhassan Mohammed and Fuseini Mohammed.
The Bigtwins Africa has always been innovative, fusing traditional and contemporary music to ensure that people in the diaspora may relate to it.
This has created a hybrid by bridging African music with Western culture.
To quench the thirst of their ardent fans, Ghanaian recognized cultural group Bigtwins Africa has taken another step by featuring multiple award-winning Rapper Edem and Ghana’s finest actor Umar Krupp a.k.a. Opana to cook up a danceable single titled: “My Lady.”
In an interview, the Traditional Dance Ensemble hinted that they will be embarking on a trip to Mexico, UK, and the USA in order to introduce Africa’s culture to the Western world.
According to them, increased cross-cultural cooperation through music will benefit all countries.
They have won several awards after exhibiting their great talent at international festivals over the years.
