The Black Satellites are gearing up for their first game against defending champions Nigeria in the Cape Town Under-20 International Friendly Tournament on Friday.
The under 20 team are in a tough Group comprising hosts South Africa and Argentina in Group A.
According to George Afriyie who is the Chairman of the Black Satellites management committee, the team is ready for the challenge.
“Everything is fine and the boys are gearing up for the opener against Nigeria”. He told JOY Sports
“The technical team is also working hard to ensure we start and the tournament well”.
The first match of the tournament will be played today with host South Africa up against and Argentina.
