Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah has named his final 24-man squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zambia.
Goalkeeper Robert Dabuo of Wa All Stars, defender Masawudu Alhassan and Rashid Sumaila were among those left out.
The others players left out following the Black Stars’ six-day training session are Solomon Asante, Ishmael Yartey and Emmanuel Baffour.
Coach Appiah praised the six players for their performance and commitment during the six-day training session.
Defender Isaac Vorsah, who is suspended for the Lesotho game, was added to the squad because he will be available for selection in the match against Zambia.
This means one central defender will be dropped before the team departs for the training camp in South Africa ahead of their clash with the Chipolopolo in Ndola.
