BlowChem Industries Limited, producers of Bel Aqua and Bel Beverages, in partnership with Bel Pak Tissues, have donated packs of 7Star Energy Drink, Bel Pak Tissues, Bel Aqua Mineral Water, and other assorted beverages to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
The donation, worth several thousand Ghana Cedis, took place at the Chief Imam’s residence in Fadama, Accra, as part of Blow Chem’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to show solidarize with the company’s strong Muslim stakeholders.

The donation was led by a delegation comprising Magnus Dey, Magnus Dey, Head of Marketing for Blowchem Industries; Christopher Sarkodie, Head of Marketing for Bel Aqua; and Mr Kofi Polley, Head of Sales for Bel Pak Tissues, and other management officials who are members of the Nation of Islam.
Speaking to the press, Mr. Dey said: "Every year, we proudly extend our support to the Muslim community during Eid-ul-Fitr, reinforcing our dedication to giving back. This year, we are excited to introduce our new energy drink, Bel 7Star, as part of the celebrations, ensuring our consumers stay energized and refreshed throughout the festive season."

Presenting assorted tissue products from sister company, Bel Pak Tissues, Mr. Polley emphasized the crucial role the Muslim community has played in the success of Bel Pak Tissues. According to him, their unwavering support and consistent patronage have been instrumental in driving the brand's growth and success in the market.
“We want to express our profound gratitude to the Muslim community for the continuous support of Bel Pak Tissues, and we hope this gesture solidifies our partnership with the community. Given that Bel Pak Tissues provides the most comfortable, absorbent and efficient paper tissue products on the market, they are essential for the EID celebrations, hence our decision to donate enough to the chief imam and the Muslim community for the celebrations”, Mr Polley said.

On his part, Head of Marketing for Bel Aqua Mineral Water, Christopher Sakordie, reiterated Bel Aqua’s continued commitment to the unique needs of the Muslim community with the aim of building more solidarity between the brand and the community.
"Our relationship with the Muslim community will only grow stronger in the years to come. We are committed to providing clean drinking water that promotes health and supports vital social causes within the community, paying attention to the religious sensibilities and sensitivities of our cherished Muslims. We encourage the Muslim community to continue counting on our unwavering support, just as we hope they will continue to choose Bel Aqua Mineral Water and Alkaplus for their hydration needs."

The items were received on behalf of the Chief Imam by his Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Abdul Latif, and his Spokesperson, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the donation and urged all companies to remain loyal to Ghana by fulfilling their tax obligations.
He stressed the importance of taxes for national growth and urged all Ghanaian companies to contribute, noting that a strong economy depends on tax compliance.

Meanwhile, Blow Chem has unveiled renowned Ghanaian personality, Bukom Banku, as the official brand ambassador for the newly launched 7 Star Energy Drink. The aim is to further strengthen its connection with consumers and position it as the positive drive for pursuing dreams, aspirations and achievement.
