Black Stars striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom scored his eleventh goal in the Serie B on Tuesday to boost his chances of getting the golden boot in the second tier of Italian football.
Boakye-Yiadom put up a fine display at the Stadio Citta de Tricolore in Regggia Emilia, and scored in the 28th minute with a sublime finish after Sassuolo had dominated possession right from the blast of the whistle.
The home-side came strongly into the game in the second half but Simoni Misiroli made victory certain for the Seria B leaders with the second goal in the 63rd minute.
Midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah also played full 90 minutes and was impressive at the heart of midfield with Tomasso Bianchi.
Juventus will be watching the progressing Boakye Yiadom, who they have loaned back to Sassuolo - where he came from - as he has now got 11 goals despite being injured for a short time.
