Winger Bernard Dong Bortey has vowed to wear the Black Stars jersey before he finally retires from football.
The 29-year-old was banned for physically assaulting a centre referee during an MTN Ghana FA Cup win over second tier side King Solomon last year.
The former Hearts of Oak star was also charged with inciting the Aduana supporters against the officials.
His suspension ended last month and he played his first official match on Sunday when Aduana traveled to Tema Amidaus Professionals in the 1/16th MTN FA Cup Knockout competition which they won on penalties by 4-2.
“I have waited for my ban to come to an end. From day one since they banned me, I have been training with my team Aduana so my fitness level is okay. I played 75 minutes and am now a born again and my form now should be monitored by the FA so I can be invited to play in the Black Stars", Bortey told Joy Sports.
The controversial winger was one of the key players of the then Glorious Accra Hearts Oak team of the early 2000.
