At a time when Ghana celebrates a record number of women being called to the Bar, one name stands as a bridge between the pioneers and the new generation — Bianca Akweley Clinton, the British-Ghanaian international lawyer marking 20 years of distinguished service to the legal profession.
A Legacy of Leadership

Bianca Clinton, Senior Partner at Clinton Consultancy, marks her 20th year at the Bar — a career that has transformed from courtroom excellence to continental influence.

Called to the Ghana Bar in 2005, Bianca went on to qualify as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2009, merging British precision with Pan-African vision.
Her journey began with a bold ascent: from Head of Legal at ProCredit Ghana to Head of Legal at Access Bank following its major merger.

From there, she took her expertise global — joining PwC Switzerland as Legal Manager before becoming a Technical Consultant to the World Bank Group, where she advised on governance reform and regulatory policy across Ghana and the ECOWAS region.
She also undertook further studies in Microeconomics at Oxford University, grounding her legal insight in economic pragmatism.
The Clinton Legacy
In 2011, Bianca co-founded Clinton Consultancy alongside her twin sister, Amanda Clinton, the firm’s dynamic Founder and international face known for her work as Menzgold victims’ lawyer, her regular television appearances, and thought-provoking op-eds on African politics.

While Amanda’s public profile has grown steadily, Bianca has remained the firm’s quiet powerhouse — the strategist behind the scenes who ensures the consultancy’s Pan-African reach remains unmatched.
Together, the twins have built a firm that spans Ghana, the UK, and multiple African jurisdictions, specializing in:
• Commercial Law, Litigation & Maritime Disputes
• Gold Trade Verification & Anti-Financial Crime Structures
• Investor Relocation & Elite Immigration
• Medical Negligence Litigation
• Sovereign Advisory, Policy Architecture & Institutional Reform
Beyond the Boardroom
Bianca is also the author of Africa’s Renaissance, a reflective work exploring the continent’s socio-economic transformation.

Her website, www.BiancaClinton.org, continues to serve as a resource for legal insights, economic commentary, and strategic thought leadership.
Off the record, Bianca’s life beautifully mirrors her principles.

Married to Rexford Allotey, and mother to twin daughters — Anastasia-Grace and Victoria-Grace — her story is an elegant echo of balance between power and grace, intellect and intuition, legacy and love.
A Quiet Force for Africa’s Rise
As Bianca celebrates two decades of legal excellence, her words capture the essence of her mission:
“This milestone is not only a personal celebration — it is a strategic recommitment to building the legal, financial, and governance infrastructure required for Africa’s rise as a global force.”
For twenty years, Bianca Akweley Clinton has exemplified the power of substance over noise — of vision over vanity.
Her legacy isn’t just measured in cases won or titles earned, but in the institutions strengthened and the continent’s future she continues to shape.
