Ghana's CAF confederation Cup representatives New Edubiase could not get past the preliminary round in their debut continental football appearance.
The reigning FA Cup winners were edged out 5-4 on penalties to Congolese side Diables Noirs on Saturday in Brazzaville after finishing with ten men following Mahmoud Suleman's second half dismissal.
Edubiase, who were leading 1-0 from the first leg in Accra lost by the same scoreline during normal time in the Congo capital before the tie was decided on penalties.
During the penalty shoot-outs, goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah made a save but Abdul Rahman and striker Adams Basit missed their kicks.
