More history will be in sight for both Sporting Club Casablanca and Ampem Darkoa Ladies who face each other tonight in the semifinal of the CAF Women's Champions League.
Making their debuts in this year's edition, the two teams advanced from Group A and B finishing second and first respectively at the end of the group games.
A final group game win over JKT Queens saw the Moroccan side finish as runners-up in their group behind Mamelodi Sundowns setting up an all-debutants semifinal fixture against Ampem Darkoa Ladies who topped ASFAR Club in Group A despite losing their second group game.
The Ghanaian side is hoping to replicate the feat of Hasaacas ladies who were in the final of the maiden edition in 2021 before losing to Sundowns in the final.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies have scored five goals in three games in the competition so far after 2-1 and 3-1 wins over ASFAR and Huracanes respectively. However, their defence has been called into question in all games as they conceded five times.
"Every semifinal is like a final," said head coach Nana Joe Adarkwa during Tuesday's press conference. "We know that we are going to have a very good game.

"They know us and we know them...I trust my girls. We are going to work and definitely with the hard work and determination we can win the game."
Unlike their opposition on Wednesday, SC Casablanca experienced all kinds of results in the group, winning one, losing one and drawing the other.
They also failed to keep a clean sheet in any of the games in Group A conceding three goals in the process while scoring five. They failed to score in one game -- the defeat to Sundowns.
A win for Ampem Darkoa will take them to the final of the competition and present them with the opportunity to make more history.
Not only do they stand a chance to win medals, they also get the opportunity to fight for the trophy as well as more cash.
The game is scheduled for a 20:00 GMT kickoff in San Pedro.
