Cassona Global Imaging Ltd has launched a groundbreaking recruitment initiative aimed at bridging the healthcare talent gap in Sub-Saharan Africa by attracting top African medical graduates from international universities.
As part of this effort, Cassona's Chief Operating Officer, Leni Chigbu, recently attended the graduation ceremony at Shenyang Medical College in Northern China, where she engaged directly with graduating African students and offered employment opportunities to outstanding candidates.
This strategic initiative reflects Cassona's long-term vision to build a first-in-class, sustainable healthcare ecosystem in Sub-Saharan Africa-driven by Africans, for Africans. By bringing together foreign-educated African medical graduates and locally trained professionals in Nigeria and Ghana, Cassona seeks to promote the cross-pollination of ideas and clinical best practices that will elevate the quality of care across the region.
"Our goal is to blend global exposure with local experience," said John Chigbu, Chairman and CEO of Cassona Global Imaging Ltd.
"We are confident that integrating diverse medical perspectives will not only improve healthcare outcomes but also begin to reverse the trend of brain drain that continues to undermine health systems across Africa."

Cassona's recruitment programme is set to continue with additional drives scheduled in Ghana and Nigeria later this year. The company aims to establish a sustainable pipeline of medical talent that leverages both international education and local expertise to address the region's most pressing healthcare challenges.
Through this initiative, Cassona reaffirms its commitment to building resilient health infrastructure and empowering African professionals to lead the transformation of healthcare delivery on the continent.
