Before she resigned, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, was one of just three women in Ghana's cabinet
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has begun investigation into suspected corruption in relation to the Former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah.
This followed as huge sums of money were reported to have been stolen from the Minister’s residence at Abelemkpe, Accra.
The investigation commenced on Thursday, July 20, 2023 and a number of measures have been executed including the arrest of Madam Cecilia and a house search at two of her residences.
The OSP has assured to keep the general public updated on the outcome of the investigation and any further steps to be taken by the office when when it comes to an end.
