Police at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium are firing volleys of tear gas as they struggle to quell riots between fans of Ashantigold and Asante Kotoko.
Asante Kotoko were leading by a lone goal before the incident.
Elsewhere at the Swedru Park, match officials have been ushered to the police station for protection as fans charge on them for yet-to-be ascertained reasons.
The confusion was said to have broken minutes before the game between All Blacks and Eleven Wise could kick-off.
