L’AINE Services Ltd, a human resource organization in Ghana has been awarded the Business Initiative Direction (B.I.D.) International Gold Star for Quality in Geneva, Switzerland.This award is the 4th to be received by L’AINE in the month of September, with the other three being; 50th most prestigious company in Ghana according to the Ghana Club 100 rankings; the CIMG Print Advert of the Year - 2011, with Mrs. Ellen Hagan, Chief Executive of L’AINE, receiving the CIMG Marketing Woman of the Year 2011 award.
This award was conferred on L’AINE during the BID International Star for Quality convention in Geneva where awards were presented to companies from 58 countries around the world.The event, presided over by Jose E. Prieto, President and CEO of BID, along with outstanding personalities from the business world and diplomatic corps and it was held at the magnificent InterContinental Convention Hall.L’AINE received this award as recognition for its commitment to quality, excellence, leadership, technology, innovation and its representation of success for Ghana in the business world.The ceremony, which constituted a moment of recognition for L’AINE’s success, was attended by distinguished business executives from all over the world, members of the media and experts in public relations and corporate image.Receiving the award on behalf of L’AINE Services Ltd was the Chief Executive, Mrs. Ellen Hagan, who was presented with, among other things, a Certification of Quality Award, Statement of the Commitment Certificate and a trophy by Jose E. Prieto.The award sought to further strengthen L’AINE’s seal of approval and increase its visibility among clients and the community in general as a quality leader. Other awardees include NTPC Ltd – India, Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Co. (IOEC) and Bonitas Medical Fund – South Africa.According to Jose E. Prieto, “the awarded companies are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation, making them models for others in their sectors.”L’AINE was selected for this award through a voting process carried out among all the participating previous awardees which include leading public and private companies and organizations from different areas of the world such as Gold Fields Ltd and Group Five Ltd, both in South Africa, Zepter in Austria, Newswatch Communications in Nigeria and Ansaldo Energy in Italy.Commenting on the award, Mrs. Hagan who doubles as the marketing woman of the year 2011 said: “We are truly honoured to have been recognized for our work and awarded for it.
