AshantiGold manager Charles Akunnor has tasked his side to double their efforts in their bid to survive what has been turbulent season for the Miners.
Akunnor was disappointed after tasting defeat on his debut after Inter Allies piped Ashgold to maximum points on Sunday.
The Eleven is to One side needed a neat effort by Prince Baffoe to deepen the woes of the troubled former league champions.
The defeat leaves Ashgold bottom with only eight points after 12 matches.
''I have been with the team for some time and I have made some observations, I think we need to work a lot,'' Akunnor said in a post-match interview.
''I have to work very hard to get the team back to winning ways, the current position is not encouraging and it is important for us to put in more effort to get back to winning ways.
''I think we played very well today, we just made some few mistakes that cost us but going forward we will try and do well to correct those lapses.''
