Spokesperson of Accra Hearts Albert Commey has condemned what he says are the unsporting behavior of Coach David Duncan during their encounters both in Accra and Obuasi.
He alleged Duncan ordered his players to walk out of the pitch just after the Top 4 clash between AshGold and Hearts at Obuasi, a behaviour he said should have attracted sanctions from the GFA.
“This [coach] is a very good coach, but when you look at certain actions of his, I don’t think it is good for the game.
“Coaches must lead by example so that players and supporters will learn from them. If a coach can move from his bench to the opponent bench then you know what it is.
“It is inciting in football and it is frowned upon by FIFA. It can lead to so many things," he lamented
Meanwhile the dethroned league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have set its sight at recapturing glory when the league kicks off on Sunday.
Vice Chairman of the side told Joy Sports the team is well prepared to hunt for the league title.
Hearts play King Faisal in the opening day of the league at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on Sunday.
“We will do our best to recapture the glory that we lost last season to Aduana. That is the simple mission we have for this season,” he said.
He touted the pre-season credentials of the team saying the players are disciplined and determined to the new cause.
