Ghana's junior women's team, the Black Maidens will fly out from the US where they have been camping for the last two weeks on Thursday to Trinidad and Tobago ahead of the start of the FIFA U-17 World Cup this weekend.
The team must however deal with minor injuries to Rita Okyere, Regina Antwi and Alice Danso before their opening game against Canada on Monday.
Coach Abraham Allotey says this crop of players can make history at the tournament.
Ghana and Brazil are both paired in Group D alongside Canada and the Republic of Ireland.
