The five-member committee set up by President John Mahama to investigate three petitions against the Chief Justice will begin its hearings on Thursday, May 15.
The committee is chaired by Supreme Court Justice Gabriel Scott Pwamang and was established in line with Article 146(6) of the 1992 Constitution.
Its formation followed a determination of a prima facie case against the Chief Justice and was done in consultation with the Council of State.
The committee is expected to sit three times a week and submit its findings and recommendations to the President upon completion of its work.
