The Chief Executive Officer of ComSys (Gh) Limited, an ICT and enterprise solution giant, Jonathan Lamptey, has won an award “Best ICT Entrepreneur” in this year’s edition of the Ghana Entrepreneurs’ Awards.
The awards are organized annually by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG) to recognize the efforts of entrepreneurs in the country.
Comsys Ghana is highly reputed in the data connectivity market in Ghana and Africa for its cutting-edge Enterprise business solutions to large corporations, both foreign and local.
Comsys boasts over 10 years experience in the delivery of reliable data connectivity services to companies.
Commenting on the award, Mr. Lamptey said it was humbling to be recognized for something you do with so much passion and commitment.

He said he drew satisfaction from the fact that Comsys’ enviable list of clients and business partners appreciated the work his company is doing for them.
“And when you have a respectable institution such as the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana identify and select you for such an honour, you give praise to the Lord who makes all things beautiful in His own time,” he said.
Mr. Lamptey said the credit ought to go to the diligent and hard working staff of Comsys who, with great courage and admirable resilience, work day and night to keep their clients’ systems running.
“I cannot imagine the banking system functioning seamlessly without the tireless efforts of staff of Comsys,” he stressed.
Comsys provides connectivity services to Financial institutions such as Ecobank, Unibank, Access Bank, UT Bank, Zenith bank, GT Bank etc and insurance companies.
In addition the company provides Enterprise solutions to companies and organisations operating in the Manufacturing, Mining/Oil&Gas, Real Estate/Construction and public sectors of the economy.
The CEO of Comsys said he was happy the company is playing a pioneering role in the area of connectivity and delivery of Enterprise solutions in the country.
He said the world is moving towards virtual connectivity and companies must either innovate by getting connected or die.
“It is no longer the question of whether or not to connect, it is when? And my answer is, now or even yesterday. This is the only way to deliver timely goods and services, unmatched customer experience, cut cost and ensure growth,” he advised.
He said Ghanaian and African businesses cannot survive by playing small and remaining informal and unconnected to the virtual world.
“They must not only connect to the internet, they must connect their services and total business operations. This is absolutely necessary,” he stressed.
Mr. Jonathan Lamptey maintained that Comsys is continuing to build its capacity and expand its infrastructure to be able to serve its clients increasingly complex needs across various locations within Ghana, the Sub-region and Africa as a whole.
