The Human Rights Division of the High Court has adjourned to November 25, 2025, the case between former Finance Minister Kenneth Ofori-Atta and the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
This follows the hearing of two motions on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
According to an update from the Office of the Special Prosecutor, Mr Ofori-Atta’s counsel moved two motions — one seeking discoveries and another for leave to amend the originating motion on notice. Both applications were opposed by lawyers for the OSP.
The court has directed both parties to file and submit their written submissions by midnight on Friday, October 24, 2025, ahead of the next sitting.
Mr Ofori-Atta, who is a suspect in several ongoing investigations by the OSP, is challenging the Office’s decision to declare him “wanted” and make that declaration public.
The case forms part of a broader legal contest over the scope of the Special Prosecutor’s powers in publicly naming individuals under investigation.
