Renowned gospel musician Danny Nettey has revealed that as part of activities marking Ghana’s 54th Independence anniversary celebrations, he is collaborating with a couple of friends to organize a special worship programme dubbed Secret Place on March 6.
“…6th of March I have decided with a couple of friends to lift up worship to the Father, he gave us Ghana, honestly that’s what I have… One nation is what I have. That [is what] he has given us and we need to be proud of it.
“So we are saying okay we are going to lift up worship and praise to God because Bible says that when we praise him, the land will yield its fruits so are we believing God for this land Ghana that in spite of what is going on-the turmoil in the world- we have peace here…,” Danny told Hitz Entertainment News in an interview.
The event, he said is riding on Psalm 91:1 which says: “He who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty,” and it will take place at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) - Calvary Temple at Sakumono.
Secret Place will be spiced up by an exciting performance from himself and Michael Ben David, a Psalmist from Israel – “He is going to show us how it is done in the Holy Land,” he said.
A list of Ghanaian acts that includes Nii Okai, Willie and Mike, Kwasi Oteng and Joe Mettle will also perform on the night. “Come let’s get drenched in his presence,” Danny says.
