An autopsy report conducted on the death of the wife of Deputy Energy Minister Inusah Fuseini has exonerated authorities of the Police Hospital from allegations of negligence.
Mrs Fuseini died at the Police Hospital during childbirth but the family insists she died out of negligence.
The President, John Mills backed calls for an investigation into the death in order to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
The autopsy report intercepted by Joy FM, and jointly signed by Dr Rafael Leandro Novo Garcia and Dr S Attoh both of the Pathological Department of the 37 Military Hospital indicates that the deceased died a natural death.
The report says Mrs Fuseini died from complications from her pregnancy including massive amniotic fluid embolism.
The Public Relations Officer of the Police Hospital, Ms Juliana Obeng said her outfit is yet to receive the official information on the autopsy report but stressed that the Police Hospital gave the best of attention to Mrs Fuseini before her unfortunate death.
A family member of the Deputy Energy Minister however disputed claims that Mrs Fuseini was given the best medical care.
