The Controller and Accountant General says December salaries of public sector workers have been paid.
Several public sector workers have been complaining of delays in their December pay, but the Controller and Accountant-General, Raphael Tuffuor Thursday told Joy Business his office has already dispatched cheques to the respective banks of workers across the country.
He explained that some workers were paid before December 20 while checks for the last batch were dispatched on December 21 and expected the banks to credit the accounts of workers in good time to enable them enjoy the Christmas.
