Defending FA Cup champions New Edubiase United have been knocked out of the competition after losing 1-0 to Division One side Starke FC on Sunday in their outstanding round of 64 match at the Dunkwa Park.
Despite Edubiase's elimination, it was a dominant Sunday for the Premier League sides in the competition as six progressed to the third round with the exception of Wa All Stars and King Faisal.
At the Accra Sports Stadium , Hearts needed a late Mahatma Otoo strike to beat BA Stars 1-0 to advance to the last 16 of the competition.
King Faisal were shocked 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium by Tudu Mighty Jets. Berekum Chelsea beat Gomoa Feyenoord 3-2 and Aduana Stars thrashed Swedru All Blacks 3-0.
