Head of Business Programing at Multimedia Group and Head of Joy Business, Odelia Ntiamoah, is encouraging media brands to spend time training their teams on audience-centric and data-driven content in this new era
Chosen by world renowned broadcasting firm, BBC, to speak at its latest round of the BBC Big Talk programme, Mrs Ntiamoah said the current global trends require brands to be tactical, innovative and consistent with its growth strategy.
Speaking on the topic: “Rocket Revenue: 80% increase in 8 months”, Odelia Ntiamoah advised the media brands to spend time training their teams on revenue-making tools since income is the bedrock of sustainable business.
In all, 63 global media leaders took part in the programme, benefiting from strategic revenue generation instruments proposed by Mrs. Ntiamoah.
The selection of Joy Business for the BBC Big Talk platform follows the introduction of bespoke programmes and media strategies for the discerning audiences and customers.
Mrs Ntiamoah also urged media brands to consolidate gains in order to remain resilient in a pandemic-battered era.
The BBC Big Talk is a platform created for media partners of the BBC to share learnings from their various jurisdictions in the media space.
This relate to success stories, among other things. It is the first time a Ghanaian media firm has been selected to speak on the show.
In the first series, Joy Business set the pace for a discussion on revenue generation, particularly when Covid-19 has affected revenue of several media houses.
The Media leaders programme is done monthly.
Participants were particularly concerned about how to convert their content to cash, especially during this Covid-19 era. Others also wanted to know how to raise financing for social projects.
Ending the programme, the BBC team was impressed with the Joy Business presentation, an indication it’s one of the best performance since the inception of the programme.
