The Presidential Candidate of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Emmanuel Ansah Antwi has promised a new agricultural revolution geared towards eliminating rural poverty.
He said the DFP will make Ghana a self sufficient country through modernized agriculture which would empower 70% of the rural poor.
The policy he said will speed up industrialization in the country.
Mr. Ansah was speaking to party supporters on his 5 day campaign tour of the Volta Region.
He said the youth over the years have been neglected by past governments, and that a DFP government will address youth unemployment when voted into power in December.
He said the two major political parties have failed the country, and called on party supporters to vote massively for the DFP in the December election
