Aggrieved members of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) have been asked to exercise their rights to join any party of their choice.
Mr. Mohammed Iddrisu, CPP's Northern regional organizer at a press conference Wednesday morning said the decision of the leadership to join the ruling party was backed by DFP founder, Dr. Obed Asamoah, who is believed to be finalizing discussions to rejoin the NDC.
Mr. Iddrisu said though a few of the party executives were not in favour of Dr. Asamoah’s decision, they (the majority) will not hesitate in joining him campaign for the NDC, come 2012.
“After all the DFP emanated from the NDC; it will be no big deal for party members to go back to their roots and push the NDC to victory” he noted.
