Edward Asare, a digital marketing expert who doubles as the social media manager of YEN.com.gh Media Limited has highlighted the main areas that businesses should focus on in 2021 when it comes to digital marketing.
In an interview with JoyNews' Charles Ayitey, he explained that businesses that do not leverage the power of social media in this day are leaving a lot of money on the table.
"One thing entrepreneurs must know is that people buy from the enterprise that they know and trust. Your goods could be quality but if people don't know about it, then they will not patronize it," he said.
Edward, therefore, encouraged entrepreneurs to join suitable social media platforms in order to put their products in front of their prospective clients.
In addition, the social media marketing expert explained that a big mistake businesses make these days is to ignore blogging or getting featured on blogs as a form of digital marketing.
On this, his words were:
"If people Google about your kind of products, your business will pop up if it is featured on blogs and that digitally markets your business."
Another one which, according to Edward, most entrepreneurs are unaware of, which is highly relevant in 2021 is 'Google my business' which can be joined by simply downloading the application on PlayStore.
