One of the club's rising stars, 17-year-old John Quaicoe, whose play has been likened to Cristiano Ronaldo, has already caught the eye of several clubs around the world. Also, players like Mateb Amoah and Justice Yangom have attracted several clubs too, and are even awaiting UAE trials in September.

In fact, construction of a new sports complex has already started in Dixcove. Sitting on a 14-acre of land at a prime area in Dixcove, given to the Club by the Paramount Chief of Upper Dixcove, Obrempong Nana Dekyi XVI, the complex will have facilities such as classrooms, accommodation and several football pitches to help the Club achieve its targets.

"We're just getting started," says Mensah with a smile. "The dream is to see one of our players representing Ghana on the world stage. But for now, we're focused on continuing to build something special here in Dixcove."
