Dr Augustine Blay, Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Ghana and Head of the Digital Campaign Team for the Bawumia For President 2024 Campaign, has officially launched Bawumia Nation.
The digital volunteer group was outdoored on Friday, September 27, at the University of Ghana's Athletic Oval.
The initiative aims to connect and mobilise people across the country, allowing supporters to actively participate in the campaign, regardless of their location.
Bawumia Nation is designed to bring together individuals who share a collective vision of electing Dr. Bawumia as President in the 2024 general elections.

The launch event, which featured both fun and educational activities, was attended by key figures from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), members of Bawumia Nation, other NPP volunteer groups, and the general public.
Dr. Blay introduced the Bawumia Nation App, the first of its kind among NPP volunteer groups. The app enables members to connect, mobilize, and engage in campaign efforts.
To join, users can download the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, sign in, and create a profile.
Members are encouraged to recruit twelve individuals into their network, referred to as "citizens" of Bawumia Nation.

Each recruiter becomes a “Prefect” for their group, expanding the network further as new recruits follow the same steps.
The app offers incentives such as badges and redeemable tokens for members who help grow the network, fostering collaboration and digital campaigning in support of Dr. Bawumia’s 2024 presidential bid.
