Ace Ghanaian theatre and film legend, Dr Brew Riverson returns from his hiatus to feature in Uncle Ebo Whyte’s theatrical classic, ‘Unhappy Wives, Confused Husbands’.
The luminary, who played multi-character roles on Ghana television in the 1980s and 1990s and featured in movies like Police Officer, Deadly Voyage and Dark Sands, took a long break from the stage and screen.
He took up teaching, and became a lecturer at the Theatre Arts Department at the University of Education, Winneba.
His talent endeared him to many Ghanaians, who have been wondering about his absence on screen and stage.
But sources close to the Roverman Productions team say he is part of the cast of Uncle Ebo Whyte’s play showing on Valentine’s Day.

'Unhappy Wives, Confused Husbands' tells the story of Mr and Mrs Afriyie, who are met with various palaver as they celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.
Their children, Esi, Yaa and Kofi seem to have various relationship issues, which they all bring home for solutions.
The hilarious and insightful two hour piece is described as a sandwich refresher course for the married, the ones in relationships and an eye opener for singles.
Don’t miss the play which takes place at the National Theatre on 14th February 2024 at 5pm and 8pm. Tickets are selling at GHC200 and GHC300 for couples.
