Didier Drogba has been voted Jose Mourinho’s greatest ever striker by Goal readers ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.
In the build-up to Paris Saint-Germain’s big Champions League game against Chelsea on Tuesday, we ran a special debate asking users which past or present Mourinho striker was his greatest out of Drogba, Ronaldo, Diego Milito, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Diego Costa.
Drogba, who has starred for the Special One during two spells at Stamford Bridge, was the clear winner - picking up 42 percent of the 24686 votes cast.
In second place was Ronaldo, who scored 168 goals in three seasons under the 52-year-old at Real Madrid. The Ballon d’Or holder took 25% of the vote.
In third spot with 19% was Milito, who hit numerous decisive goals under Mourinho in their treble-winning campaign in 2009-10.
Ibrahimovic (9%) and Diego Costa (5%) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
