Eastern Regional Minister Rita Akosua Adjei, in collaboration with the DBJ Empire Sports Agency, organised a two-day regional scouting event on Friday, November 21, and Saturday, November 23, at the Koforidua Sports Stadium.
The programme, now in its sixth edition since its inception by CEO Daniel Boyefio Junior, brought together 10 teams and 120 aspiring footballers, all hoping to impress the scouts and sports agents in attendance.
A number of standout players were selected and will be given the opportunity to pursue their ambitions of playing in Europe.

Eastern Regional Minister Rita Akosua Adjei, who together with Empire Sports Agency organised this year’s edition, expressed satisfaction with the talent on display.
“I think it’s something I’d like to do even more in the coming years. What drives me is the passion I see in these young ones.
"There were young men just like them who played in our school teams, and today, many of them are simply walking the streets.
"I believe that if they had been given the right opportunities, they would’ve gone far.

CEO of Empire Sports Agency Daniel Boifio Junior was also encouraged by the quality of the players.
“I’m surprised by the level of talents here in the Eastern Region and it’s been so amazing.
"We’ve seen superstars and generational talents and this should tell you that Ghana really has talent and this is why this kind of event should happen often”
The next edition of the Regional Scouting Justifier is scheduled to take place next year.
