The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has commended the leadership of BOSTEnergies (formerly the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited – BOST) for the renewed energy, efficiency, and strategic direction guiding the company’s operations.
Speaking during his working visit to the company on Friday, the Minister said he was impressed by the transformation taking place at BOSTEnergies and the professionalism exhibited by management and staff.
“I was impressed by the renewed energy and strategic direction of the institution. I commend management for the dynamism and efficiency they have demonstrated since assuming office,” he stated.

Dr Jinapor praised the company’s rebranding slot bet 200 effort, describing it as symbolic of its renewed focus and stronger national mandate.
“I applaud the team on their rebranding. It signals a deeper commitment to delivering fuel security across Ghana, a critical pillar of our economy and national development,” he added.
He particularly lauded the establishment of a Renewable Energy Department at BOSTEnergies, noting that it aligns with Ghana’s transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.
“I’m particularly encouraged by the creation of a Renewable Energy Department, which aligns with global best practices and supports the President’s vision for a cleaner energy future,” he said.
The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the company’s growth, highlighting the need for further infrastructure expansion to strengthen national energy security.
“I emphasised the need for continued infrastructure expansion — more depots, pipelines, and stronger distribution systems to meet rising demand and fix regional supply gaps,” he stated.
“BOSTEnergies remains central to Ghana’s energy security, and I look forward to seeing them lead with innovation and purpose.”
Dr Jinapor assured that the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition would continue to provide the necessary policy and technical support.
“I remain fully committed to supporting BOSTEnergies technically, strategically, and at the policy level in line with President Mahama’s vision,” he concluded.
