Engr. Richard Ben Debrah, Head of the Works Department at the Tema West Municipal Assembly and the National President of the Local Government Service Engineers Association, has been awarded the 'Prestigious Personality of Great Impact and Excellence Award' 2025 at the inaugural Ghana Titans Awards.
The ceremony took place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Ghana Titans Awards, organised by The Business Executive Media Group, recognized Engr. Debrah for his outstanding dedication, hard work, and professionalism in the field of engineering and infrastructure development.
During his acceptance speech, Engr. Ben Debrah expressed deep gratitude for the honour, highlighting the critical role engineers play in shaping the nation’s infrastructure and fostering long-term economic growth.
“Our work in developing the country’s infrastructure is fundamental to national development,” he remarked.
He encouraged fellow engineers to continue striving for sustainable infrastructure solutions, uphold high construction standards, and embrace innovation to meet the country’s growing infrastructure needs.

Engr. Debrah dedicated the award to his team at the Works Department and his colleagues in the Local Government Service Engineers Association.
He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Ghana Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Tema West Municipal Assembly, St. Bakhita Catholic Church, the Old Estate community in Koforidua, and his family for their continuous support.
Special thanks were given to his wife for her unwavering encouragement throughout his journey.
